Cancellation Policy – Pappad Delivery
1. Eligibility for Cancellation:
- Orders can only be canceled before the store, restaurant, or merchant accepts them for processing. After acceptance, the order proceeds to preparation and cannot be canceled by the buyer.
- Orders for certain categories like food, groceries, and medicines may have stricter cancellation policies due to the nature of the items.
2. Process of Cancellation:
- To cancel an order, buyers must use the Pappad Delivery app’s cancellation feature. If cancellation is successful, buyers will receive a confirmation via the app.
- If an order is canceled before acceptance, no charges will apply, and the full amount will be refunded.
3. Refunds for Canceled Orders:
If an order is canceled before it is accepted, refunds will be initiated as per the payment method used by the buyer.
- Payment Methods and Refund Timelines:
- Net Banking: 5-7 business days
- Debit/Credit Cards: 5-10 business days
- UPI: 3-7 business days
- Wallet: 0-7 business days
Refund processing time may vary based on the buyer's bank or payment provider.
4. Exceptions to Cancellations:
- Orders that have already been accepted by the store, restaurant, or merchant, or orders in the process of being delivered, cannot be canceled.
- Certain products like food, groceries, and medicines may not be eligible for cancellation once the order is placed, due to their perishable or sensitive nature.
5. Cancellation by Pappad:
Pappad reserves the right to cancel orders in certain situations, such as:
- The provided delivery address is incorrect or outside the delivery zone.
- The buyer is unreachable by phone or email at the time of delivery.
- The ordered items are unavailable due to stock or supply issues.
In such cases, buyers will be notified, and a full refund will be provided if payment has already been made.
6. Delivery Failure Cancellations:
- If the delivery fails due to incorrect address details, communication failures, or lack of authorization from the buyer, Pappad reserves the right to cancel the order. In such situations, refund eligibility will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
- If the failure is due to reasons attributable to Pappad or the delivery partner, the buyer may receive a full refund.
7. No Cancellation After Delivery:
- Once an order has been delivered, cancellations are not allowed. However, in case of issues like tampered packaging, incorrect or missing items, the buyer can contact Pappad customer support for further assistance.
